Our Christmas holiday started with Connor and Ashley having to take a sick day on the Tuesday before Christmas. Both of us were sick and we spent most of the day sitting on the couch reading books. The fact that Connor agreed to sit still for more than 60 seconds clearly indicated that he was not feeling well. Then the marathon holiday began. We saw all three sets of grandparents, both great-grandmothers, lots of aunts, and Uncle Dan. The winter break never quite seems to be a vacation, but we had plenty of quality time spent with family and lots of reminders of just how fortunate we are.
Connor learned how to say "ho, ho, ho" just in time for Santa's arrival. He quickly learned how to unwrap presents, and he ooh-ed and aaah-ed appropriately at each gift he opened. It's amazing how quickly a baby learns these holiday skills :) Here are just a few pictures from the past couple of weeks.
Waiting patiently with Granddaddy for a present to unwrap.
