It's been over a month since our last post - my, how time flies! The leaves are changing, the temperature is dropping, and Connor keeps on growing. Matt finished up a successful homecoming week, and I finished up my first really, really busy week of my new job, all the while being entertained by Connor's silly faces, dog noises, and "hellos" whenever the phone rings.
We started swimming lessons a couple of weeks ago, and Connor loves it. His favorite part is "floating" (with his head on my shoulder) on his back because he can look at the flags hanging over the pool. Otherwise, he really has no interest in blowing bubbles or kicking in the water. He had his 15 - month checkup last week and weighed in at 26 lbs, 8 0z. and 32 inches tall! The doctor warned us that this is about the time that he will begin to assert himself and realize that bad behavior gets noticed more quickly than good behavior. Really?! We hadn't noticed! This kid knows what he wants and isn't afraid to do what it takes to get it. Here are a couple of pictures from the past couple of weekends.
