The summer months have been anything but relaxing thusfar. Ashley and Matt have been busy with summer school, and Connor has been busy exploring his world, acquiring seven teeth, trying really hard to walk, and showing us a little more of his strong personality each day.
We went to Annapolis for the July 4th holiday to spend some time with Nona Kim and the Commodore. It was a little bit of an indoor camping adventure, as they are in the middle of a big kitchen renovation. Connor was teething, and feeding time has not been the most pleasant of experiences the past few weeks, so it's a good thing the Commodore is so great with the grill. We also got to spend time with Aunt Lauren and Radek.
Connor has spent lots of time in the water, in his pool in our own backyard and in the river. It's clear that he is a water baby!
He hasn't quite gotten up the nerve to take those first couple of steps, but don't be surprised if, any day now, you read that he's taken the leap. While he doesn't yet walk, he is certainly able to climb steps, climb on top of coffee tables (yes if there is a table in the way of you and the DVD player you would like to stick your fingers in, you should simply climb over the obstacle in your way!), and has almost mastered the scaling of the giant baby gate wall--quite a little monkey we have!
Here are some pictures of the past few weeks. Next post: Connor turns 1!!
Enjoying some time in the pool.
